The Keywords Everywhere API is the extension's data as REST. POST https://api.keywordseverywhere.com/v1/get_keyword_data is form-urlencoded, not JSON. The official sample sends dataSource=gkp, a country code, a currency, and kw[] values. The same Bearer key unlocks the extension and the REST calls. Related Keywords, People Also Search For, domain keywords, traffic, and backlinks sit beside it. That is SEO metrics. It is not Google Trends Explore. Modes for an interest series are on the API reference.

Keyword Planner volume

The vendor's FAQ says volume comes from Google Keyword Planner, optionally blended with clickstream via dataSource. Competition is the Ads 0-1 metric. Get Keyword Data uses one credit per keyword returned, including zeros. Credits last one year from purchase. Older packs burn first.

Those fields help bid and content planning. They do not answer where a phrase sits on a Trends 0-100 line this week. Trends API volume is a different field, and it can be null. Read volume versus score before joining the two.

12 months on the API, 2004 on the extension

The official sample for digital marketing shows vol 90500 and a trend row of {month, year, value} with January 2026 at 110000. Those value integers are monthly Planner volume, not a 0-100 index.

The paid extension advertises Trend Charts for Google and YouTube back to 2004. That longer chart is not what get_keyword_data returns. The REST trend array is the last twelve months. Do not promise a warehouse a 2004 series from this endpoint.

Keywords Everywhere also hosts an MCP server at mcp.keywordseverywhere.com/mcp. That process reads their keyword credits. It is not Trends API MCP at api.trendsapi.ai/mcp.

100 keywords, one country

Each Get Keyword Data call picks country and currency. That is a Planner geo, not a Trends geo widget. Domain and URL endpoints answer "what does this site rank for," which the vendor says is a snapshot, not rank tracking. Since June 2025 the vendor states every REST method, including this one, works on all plans. There is no separate API fee. Credits are still the extension credits.

Keep Keywords Everywhere when the spreadsheet is volume and CPC. Leave when the chart is interest over time on a named source. Website traffic instead of keyword volume is Similarweb.
